Start TLV @StartTLVIreland is an international startup competition. The top innovative startups companies from 20 different countries are selected for the opportunity to attend a 5 day intense startup experience to learn from the startup ecosystem in Tel Aviv and meet with leading investors and multinationals.  The winners will also be given the opportunity to attend Israel’s leading tech conference DLD Tel Aviv.

Tel Aviv is a leading innovation hub with world class tech talents, dozens of leading multinationals and hundreds of tech star startups. The city was named Europe’s leading tech hub by the Wall Street Journal and ranked by Startup Genome as the 2nd best place in the world to open a startup!  Israel has largest venture capital industry and number of startups per capita and tech exits totalling $6.94 billion in 2014 alone.

The Irish team will be joined by founders from Colombia, Chile, Norway, New Zealand, South Korea, Sweden, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Spain, UK, Hungary, France, South Africa, India, Japan, China, Japan, Holland and Serbia.

Previous competition winners include Bizimply and Trustev.

The local competition to find the most innovative Irish startup was initiated/coordinated by the Ireland Israel Business Network (www.iibn.org) supported by leading technology law firm Byrne Wallace and NDRC, who will host the Pitch Night in late June for this trip and other prizes.  To enter companies must summit a 30 second video on “Why their company should go to Tel Aviv?
