Software Solution developed in Shannon receives more international recognition

A risk management software solution developed in Co. Clare, Ireland has been shortlisted for one of the most prestigious awards in its field.

CalQRisk, a browser-based application created by Shannon-based SME LinkResQ, has been shortlisted in the “Risk Management Product of the Year” category, at the 2016 Risk Management Awards. This comes just months after being Highly Commended for “Risk Management Solution of the Year” at the Global Risk Awards organised by the Institute of Risk Management.

The Risk Management Awards, which are organised by CIR Magazine, pits CalQRisk against some of the biggest names in the business, including Alcumus Group (UK), RiskVision (USA) and Sword Active Risk (USA).

“The competition is fierce, to be shortlisted is an achievement in itself” CalQRisk COO, Gerard Joyce.

CalQRisk was launched in 2010 by Gerard Joyce and Paul O’Brien, and since then has grown to become an innovative player in the industry with an established client base in the Aviation, Financial Services, Care Home, Education and Asset Management sectors.

CalQRisk, which is now garnering international recognition, is an integrated solution for the effective management of Governance, Risk & Compliance. It addresses the growing need to effectively manage risk in a consistent manner throughout an enterprise while also addressing the ever changing landscape in which organisations have to conduct business.

“Being recognised by our peers is rewarding for the team behind CalQRisk and is also good for business. We look forward to the awards ceremony in November.” CalQRisk MD, Paul O’Brien.

The awards will take place in November 2016 in London.
