A ‘SMART Construct’ conference which is coming to Cookstown next month aims to educate those working in Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing on the immersive tech trends and digital innovation currently shaping these sectors.

The event launch took place at Titanic Quarters Belfast in order to signify the importance of the Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing industries right across Northern Ireland.

The annual one-day conference, hosted by SMART Global, takes place in the heart of Mid-Ulster in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown on October 25.

A range of industry leaders will join the SMART Construct speaker’s panel including from the Siemens, Specialist Joinery Group, FSB, McAvoy Group, ArcDox, Grant Thornton, M&M Contractors, Mascott, Manufacturing NI, CDE Global, AuditComply, Pinnacle Professional, Park Electrical Services, Terex, Schneider Electric, Digital Catapult, PwC, The Department of Finance, Manufacturing NI, Digital Scaffold, Encirc, Kingspan, NIACE, Topcon and the PSNI.

Key themes for the day include AI, Cybersecurity, Lean Process, Automation & Robotics, Immersive Tech, BIM,vSkills Resource, Blockchain, Brexit, Finance and Funding.
