Slush Tokyo Returns February 2019 – Tickets Now on Sale

Slush Tokyo, the largest startup event in Japan, will be back on Feb 22–23, 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight. More than 8,000 startups, investors, company executives, students, media and everyone dreaming to change the world are expected to gather from more than 80 countries to celebrate entrepreneurship, unite communities across the globe and inspire future founders.

Slush, a non-profit event, started in Helsinki in 2008 as a community of entrepreneurs, investors, students, media and festival organizers. Over these 10 years, the movement has spread globally to Tokyo, Shanghai, and Singapore.

Slush Tokyo 2019 will be our 5th year.

What was the inspiration to start it?

In essence, Slush exists to help new founders forward and to celebrate entrepreneurship in all forms and stages.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

Expect a world class startup conference with a rock concert vibe. We will have speakers flying in from all over the world, workshops, interactive sessions, performances, pitch contest, meetings through a data drive matchmaking tool and so much more!

Everything is hush-hush for now but we will be announcing speakers the following weeks on our website.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

It would depend on their main purpose for attending since we do cater to different types of attendees but one would be to plan ahead and fly in a few days early for some fun side events!
