Servecentric to Launch Enterprise Cloud Platform

Irish Data Centre services provider, Servecentric has announced that it is to launch a Dublin based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform, Servecentric Enterprise Cloud.

The company, which already has a successful colocation, connectivity and Managed IT Services business has partnered with leading Cloud as a Service provider, CloudSigma to provide a full end to end infrastructure and support solution for clients that require high-performance cloud.

Servecentric Commercial Director, Brian Roe explains “the feedback we have been getting from our clients is that Hyperscale Cloud offerings are becoming increasingly complex and difficult to cost control, particularly in Hybrid scenarios. Moreover, the requirement for additional support from 3rd party partners or premium vendor services is significantly impacting the cost justifications for cloud consumption.”

Servecentric Enterprise Cloud has set out to be different on a number of fronts, not least of which is the provision of direct chat support, 24 x 7 x 365 for all clients, with an average response time of less than 30 seconds. The service also supports almost all Operating Systems and facilitates easy migration to and from the platform as required.

Additionally, for Hybrid deployments, Servecentric can provide ultra-low latency 1Gb or 10Gb backbone with no need for expensive carrier services or port connect charges.

Powered by HPE’s High-Performance Computing “Apollo” family, Servecentric Enterprise Cloud is set to deliver exceptional price/performance ratios, both from compute and storage perspectives and is in final testing phase now, with soft launch due before the end of the month.
