Ireland’s largest business improvement district, Sandyford Business District (SBD), is set to host its annual Innovation Summit over two days, November 20 and 21. The theme of the event is aimed at shaping the district’s mission
and the future of innovation over the next five years and beyond.
This highly anticipated two-day Summit has evolved from previous iterations, which saw a slew of expert speakers address delegates in a series of sessions.
The 2024 Innovation Summit will be marked by an inclusive collaboration led by local business leaders, government representatives, international experts, and academics who will compile an innovative roadmap, which will guide the district’s future growth, position SBD as a leading innovation hub in Europe, with a focus on circularity, digitisation, mobility, and social innovation.
Participants will engage in expert-led sessions and breakout discussions designed to create actionable strategies.
Day one of the Summit will focus on inspiring ideas and identifying strategic inputs, while day two will involve in-depth breakout sessions to solidify the innovation roadmap.
Ger Corbett, CEO of Sandyford Business District, said: “The Innovation Summit is a unique opportunity for attendees to contribute to the development of a comprehensive roadmap that will shape Sandyford Business District’s future and fulfill its mission of becoming a sustainable and innovative district.
We look forward to engaging with attendees and gaining from their expertise to design actionable plans that will lead to measurable change for the district and ensure that SBD remains a world-class business district.”
