SaaS companies accounting for half the global revenue of the industry to attend SaaStock in Dublin

Taking place in the RDS Dublin, October 14th – 16th, SaaStock will welcome founders and senior executives from companies that account for half the global SaaS market in terms of annual recurring revenue (ARR);  a projected $58bn of a $115bn market.

Now in its fourth year, the event gathers over 4,000 SaaS founders, executives, and investors to provide focused learning, tangible insights, and highly-relevant networking opportunities over 3 days in Dublin.

Alex Theuma, Founder & CEO of SaaStock launched the conference in 2016, building on the popularity of his blog and podcast for SaaS founders and initial SaaS meetups in Dublin, London, and Berlin. Theuma emphasised SaaStock’s role in helping SaaS founders and executives to build successful, scalable businesses, “It’s all about creating a dedicated space for SaaS companies to come together and learn from the successes and failures of others who are on the same path. This year’s conference will focus on some of the key challenges facing SaaS leaders today, such as finding product-market fit, acquiring and retaining customers, securing funding, hiring for scale, creating and maintaining company culture, and expanding internationally. It will provide attendees with the playbook to building a great SaaS business.”

Organisers have gathered some of the most authoritative voices in SaaS and they are delighted to announce the first 50 speakers including:

  • Claire Hughes Johnson, COO, Stripe

  • Girish Mathrubootham, CEO, Freshworks

  • Rory O’Driscoll, Partner, Scale Venture Partners

  • Kathryn Petralia, Co-Founder, Kabbage

  • Des Traynor, Co-Founder, Intercom

  • Aaron Ross, Co-CEO, Predictable Revenue

  • Sydney Sloan, CMO, SalesLoft

  • Leela Srinivasan, CMO, SurveyMonkey

This year, Irish-based companies are being encouraged to take advantage of Europe’s largest SaaS gathering taking place on their doorstep and bring their team along to the event.

Headquartered in Dublin, Phorest is one of the great SaaS success stories to come out of Ireland in recent years. The company has been growing rapidly and has become a leading global player in its vertical. In 2018, Phorest sent 10 people from the team to SaaStock and this lead to meeting their most recent investor.

This year they will send 20 team members. VP of Marketing at Phorest, Connor Keppel explained, “One of our values is a growth mindset – this is a determination to constantly question where we are now, and how we can improve. Conferences like SaaStock are a critical component to this. SaaStock tickets are given as a reward to high performers in Phorest who have shown a consistent desire to learn and a proven track record of sharing knowledge. This applies at all levels in the company.”

The conference delivers over 40 hours of content including keynote talks, panel discussions, and workshops. It also hosts an extensive SaaS exhibition featuring over 250 exhibitors, a dedicated investor zone offering the opportunity to meet with over 300 SaaS-focussed investors, and an array of facilitated networking opportunities.  In addition to the main conference, SaaStock runs the following fringe events:

  • SaaS.City – A multi-location, pre-event bootcamp featuring a series of focussed workshops structured to facilitate learning and networking

  • Investock – Held prior to SaaStock, this exclusive gathering is a day of structured networking and curated roundtable discussions, connecting investors from leading international funds with influential angels, accelerators, and LPs to forge meaningful connections

  • Startup Program – Participating startups amplify their visibility through receiving exhibition space on the SaaStock show floor. This is complemented by a tailored day of practical workshops, matchmaking with investors, and further support from official Startup Program partners

  • SaaSociety – An exclusive scaling SaaS founders retreat is crafted for an elite audience, and seeks to facilitate an open, honest dialogue on unique issues and challenges faced by founders.
