Oh yes folks, its that magical time of year again when ‘inside sources’, ‘Apple insiders’ and ‘sources familiar with the plans’ all come together to herald the arrival of Rumour Season!!
According to iMore Apple is planning the release of the fifth gen iPad and second gen iPad Mini for April next, followed by the iPhone 5S later this summer! Also, “sources familiar with the plans have told iMore that the iPhone 5S does indeed have the same basic designs as the iPhone 5 but with a more advanced processor and an improved camera.”
This rumour is hardly surprising given Apples past record of releasing S models of the iPhone though?
However no matter what corner of the internet you might choose to rummage in you cannot escape the biggest rumour around at the moment, the iWatch!!
Just one of the many artist impressions 🙂
Personally, I would buy one if it would give me access to alerts for calls, texts, emails etc but battery life would be a big deal breaker?
According to unnamed sources apparently familiar with the prototype hardware Apple hopes the alleged iWatch will offer 4-5 days of use between charges but current prototypes only achieve about half that! The prototype device ‘allegedly’ runs the same iOS platform as on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The same unnamed sources also claimed that Apple has a 100 person team working on the iWatch project, many of whom previously worked on the iPhone and iPad.
