RewardMob, the first Mobile eSports loyalty platform to be powered by blockchain technology, is hosting the Waves Challenge Cup this Sunday to celebrate the launch of their Ticket Sale
The Waves Challenge Cup marks the start of RewardMob’s ticket based Mobile eSports tournaments. The tickets can be earned in qualifying tournaments, via in game rewards or purchased via RewardMob’s ticket sale website.
The tournament will start at 4pm GMT Sunday 18th March and will run for two hours in Jackpot Jelly, a match-3 game published by RewardMob, available on iOS and Android. Competitors will play in an unlimited leaderboard style tournament where they will be vying for a piece of the $20,000USD prize pool. First place will win $10,000 Second place $7,000 and third $3,000
The tournament is only available to players who have a balance of 500 tickets and above in their RewardMob account. You can purchase tickets at the RewardMob ticket sale website https://ticketsale.rewardmob.com/, using Bitcoin, Ethereum and Waves. The tournament is launched in conjunction with Waves, which is now recognized as the fastest decentralized blockchain platform.
In a press release, RewardMob clarified what they hope to accomplish via this style of tournament. “The Waves Challenge Cup marks the start of our ticket based tournaments program and is essentially a Bonus tournament for our existing ticket holders and new players that want to participate in the ticket sale. We will shortly be announcing our next round of tournaments that will feature not only unbelievable Tournament pools but also once in a lifetime experiences.” said Todd Koch, CEO and co-founder of RewardMob.
Players have up until 4pm GMT Friday 16th March to purchase tickets for the Waves Challenge Cup. RewardMob will also apply a 30% Bonus ticket allocation for players that purchase within this timeframe. Further information on the tournament and how to purchase tickets are available here
