Revolut offers a wide array of investment options for its customers across the EEA, with over 9,000 financial assets (US and EEA stocks, ETFs, corporate and government bonds) available within the Revolut app to customers in Ireland.
“While more positive ETF tax reforms have been discussed in Ireland recently, in the meantime, this product provides savvy investors with an improved solution for managing and diversifying their portfolios,” added Malcolm Craig, General Manager at Revolut Bank – Ireland Branch.
“It’s important that our customers understand the Irish tax rules when investing in these plans, but nevertheless, zero-commission ETFs will be on the radar of any shrewd trader and at Revolut, we’re providing Ireland’s slickest way to invest.”
Revolut also offers a Robo-Advisor service, which is most advantageous for customers who have limited trading experience, or simply don’t have time to do extensive research.
For more active trading customers, the company has introduced Trading Pro — a paid subscription that provides access to pricing benefits, such as lower commission fees on most of the instruments and higher order size limits, as well as additional analytics features.
In 2024, Revolut Bank’s Irish branch was recognised by financial comparison site Bonkers.ie as ‘Ireland’s Best Consumer Business’ and provider of the ‘Best Current Account’, while the RepTrak 2024 study also ranked it the 9th most highly regarded organisation in the country.
