Our in-house team were interested and keen to review the reMarkable Paper Pro. We had three different people put it through it’s paces, and they were all keen to return to it and keep playing around and experimenting with it further. Our inhouse lefty was pleased to see that, with a very simple option clicked, it could be switched to be a left handed facing device too. This is such a great idea, and for those 20% of us who are not right handed, this is a smart, and easy win. The other, right handed users were happy with the traditional set up, and all parties were able to toggle between the settlings that worked best for them.

All three testers, trying out different use cases, felt that it was a pretty good piece of kit. The in-house artist made some lovely sketches with it. The work efficiency guru found it helpful and useful for planning her day’s activities. and the project manager also found it intuitive and useful to use. Two of the testers did express a degree of caution that they found it a little laggy, as in slow to reformulate the image of the screen when scrolling, and also when working in colour. Fairly soon it settled down and accurately reflected the new adjustments to the image, so it got there. Our testers didn’t think it was a connectivity issue, but it might be something to anticipate.

Overall they all gave it the thumbs up and were both happy to test it, and, subsequently, all advanced  opinions as to why they should be the one that took it home again, to continue to evaluate it. Always a positive sign that they enjoyed using it, and would continue to do so.
