Pure Telecom today announced it will create 30 new jobs over the next two years in an investment worth €2 million. Positions will be spread across customer care, sales and technical support, and will include a national sales manager, two regional sales manager and three supervisory roles. The investment will see the company grow to 80 employees in total.
The company recently signed a two-year partnership agreement with eircom Wholesale worth €20 million, which gives Pure Telecom customers access to eircom’s high speed fibre broadband network. The telecoms company can also provide access to other leading networks, including BT and Verizon and is targeting an increase from 30,000 to 45,000 customers over the next year.
The Irish-owned telecoms company will aim to secure approximately two thirds of its new customers from its new Purely Broadband service. This broadband-only service allows customers without a land-line to access high speed fibre broadband up to 100Mb/s with no download limits and no land-line charges.
Speaking about the announcement, Paul Connell, director, Pure Telecom said: “We’ve achieved consistent year-on-year growth and this announcement is a statement of our ambition to grow our business very strongly.
“We’re looking to add people to our team who have the hunger, drive and dynamism to build a successful career in telecoms. We want people who share the same values that have helped Pure Telecom grow to the company it is today. For us it is all about passion for customer service.
David Sheill, commercial sales director, Pure Telecom, added: “These new positions will give us the manpower to provide the additional support and care we’ll need for a larger customer base. We are very bullish about the opportunities we have and we expect to grow the team here even more in the coming years.”
