Todays the day that PlayBook OS 2 will be released. The device has been heavily discounted so if you’ve wanted to dip into a tablet device for less then the rest of the market then go no further then the PlayBook. Currently it’s 219euro for the 16GB model in PCworld. Bridge for BlackBerry devices has already been released and with that we can control our PlayBook’s right from our mobile. Some users are reporting that the Bridge Remote app has also allowed them to control the PS3 and Motorola Xoom. We’ll have a full review of OS 2 later in the week but take a look at this video to show you some of the OS highlights. There’s also some surprises in store too for users.

Let us know how you get on if you update. The OS2 update is due to land about 9am GMT but no guarantees!
