Phising Warning from Permanent TSB

Permanent TSB are today warning customers about a new phising/email scam that is targeting the well known Irish banking institution. Lots of people have reported receiving emails purporting to be from Permanent TSB notifying them that their Open24 online banking account has been locked for ‘security reasons’.

They are then requested to download an attachment and fill in all the required fields.

Permanent TSB are requesting that anybody that receives this email, or anything similar, to please forward the complete email to info@permanenttsb.ie

The Irish bank also has a permanent warning on the login page of its Open24 site!
