Paul Hayes the CEO and founder of Beachhut PR talks about the Startup Wake which returns next week

Startup Wakes are where failed startups are laid to rest, and it is a chance for Startups and also the tech community to meet up and mourn Irish Startups that have recently left us. My Irish Tech News Colleague Simon Cocking memorably covered one that took place last year in Cork which will give you an idea of what to expect at the next Startup Wake which is taking place in Dublin next week.

I caught up with Paul Hayes the CEO and founder of Beachhut PR, for the Irish Tech News Podcast and he talks about the return of the Startup Wake which is taking place next Wednesday evening between six and nine in Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre, how it all started, why it is important to hold a wake for startups and the role that Beachhut PR plays in helping Startups. Tickets for the Startup Wake can be bought from Eventbrite.
