Offr Secures €2.1 Million in Successful Investment Round Bringing Total Funding to Date to €6 Million

Offr, a revolutionary white-label technology for estate agents, that transforms property transactions by transparently showing live bids on a property, has successfully completed an investment round, raising €2.1 million. This new investment brings Offr’s total funding to date to €6 million, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.

With a target of €1.5 million, Offr closed the round at €2.1 million. The purpose of the funding is to grow its presence in Ireland and to expand into key markets outside of Ireland including the UK, South Africa, and the United States. The company has already received significant interest from real estate companies across multiple US States, spanning from California to Alabama and Florida.

Offr’s newest investor is Second Century Ventures, the venture capital arm of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), headquartered in Chicago, USA. With a membership of 1.5 million realtors, NAR is the world’s largest trade organisation. Offr’s inclusion in NAR’s REACH program, an annual accelerator which hand picks the world’s most promising prop-tech companies, further strengthens its proposition for the US market. DocuSign is a famously successful alumnus of REACH.

The investment round was co-led by Barclays Principal Investments, with the continued support of existing investors, including Rob Pierre, founder of Jellyfish, one of the world’s largest digital marketing agencies, and Delta Partners, an Irish VC fund.

Robert Hoban, Co-Founder and CEO of Offr said:

“My vision with Offr was to make buying or renting property as easy as booking a flight. Before Offr, all offers in Ireland were made offline by telephone or email or in person at viewings, resulting in a mess of distrust, lack of transparency and communication, and total dissatisfaction with the process. Deals used to take 6 months to close.

“Offr’s pioneering solution has been embraced so quickly and entirely by the Irish market, that estate agents are now being asked every weekend at viewings where they submit their offers online. Sellers are appointing estate agents who have a powerful online offer solution. We’re excited to expand our offering into the US.”

Since its inception in 2019, Offr has been embraced by over 100 real estate companies in three countries (Ireland, UK, & South Africa), processing 50,000 offers with a combined value of €20 billion and facilitating 2,500 property transactions.

35,000 people have now used Offr to speed up their property buying process. 675 solicitor firms have used Offr’s data room to upload and download contracts and legal packs, greatly speeding up the archaic conveyancing process.

Fascinatingly, 45% (22,500) of all offers were made at evenings and on weekends, outside of the estate agents’ traditional working hours, reflecting Offr’s transformative impact on the property buying experience, a process historically considered life’s most stressful event, after divorce.

The ground-breaking technology simplifies property transactions by allowing individuals to transparently submit offers to buy or rent properties from any location, using their mobile devices. The platform maintains an independent register of offers, complete with proof of funds, photo ID, and Anti-Money Laundering checks, fostering trust and transparency in the market while automating over 90% of daily communication tasks for estate agents.

Major domestic and international brands using the Offr platform include CBRE (Ireland & South Africa), Sherry FitzGerald, Cushman & Wakefield, Savills, Quillsen, Hunters, Avison Young (South Africa), Broll Auctions (South Africa) and High Street Auctions (South Africa).
