MYFLYRIGHT – Simplifying Passenger Claims

Artificial intelligence in business has become a key component in growing and improving companies and the services they provide. Within businesses helping airline passengers to pursue their rights, the use of this technology is growing at a rapid rate. MYFLYRIGHT is an example of such a company which has embraced advancements in AI to modernise and streamline their business and make the claims process simple and affordable, resulting in increased ease of access for clients to legal services.

MYFLYRIGHT, founded in 2016 in Hamburg, was set up to help passengers pursue their rights against airlines. Recognising that navigating the tricky world of flight compensation claims can be daunting and stressful, we set out to find a way to make this process more manageable – for us and our clients. Using an algorithm, we are able to collect and analyse passengers’ data relating to their claims far easier and faster than any human would be able to.

Once the data is collected and analysed, it is clear whether the passenger has a claim for compensation or not. This technology can, in fact, predict what the outcome of a claim will be, from how much money will be compensated to whether the airline in question will be taken to court.

There are many variables when it comes to flight compensation and setting up a system which can filter this data enables our claims process team to focus on the most important tasks, rather than spending copious amounts of time sifting through documents before they can even confirm if they can build a case. Our system can recognise patterns in claims, meaning it can swiftly recognise the likelihood of a claim being successful. Additionally, these advancements have led to a higher standard of work due to superior accuracy, reducing the chance of human error.

Especially in the area of passenger claims, there is frequently reluctance from clients to endure the frustration, costliness and time it takes to make a claim. For the few passengers that are aware of their rights, there is the strong impression that even if you can claim against an airline, it is simply not worth the effort. Airlines are of course experienced in dealing with compensation claims and have extensive teams of legal professionals on their side.

However, with MYFLYRIGHT, passengers can check if they have a claim or not, by simply entering the flight date and number into our compensation calculator. It’s totally free and takes hardly any time at all, in contrast to trying to get through to the airline, which can be time-consuming and sometimes fruitless. If the passenger has a claim, we can then take on their case for them if they choose to use our services.

Now, if the case goes to court, the passenger can sit back and let us pursue it. Moreover, a commission fee is only charged if the outcome is successful, which means the client has zero legal costs and doesn’t have to go through the ordeal of fighting the case on their own in court against the airline.

Companies such as MYFLYRIGHT are helping to shift attitudes with regards to legal services. If you can find out about your rights, check if you have a claim, then have someone pursue your case for you from the comfort of your home, you are far more likely to claim than if you had to hire a lawyer. There has long been the sense that those representing the law are separate – even above – the average person. Our services help to break down these barriers and hand the power back to the client, providing immediate access to legal services with no cost risk.
