What is your background briefly?

I was born in Croatia, and did my schooling from Zagreb. After that, I went to Stanford to study Philosophy and Computer Science. The hippie culture of the Silicon Valley had a great influence on me. After the graduation, I worked for various startups in whatever role I could find. After 2 years of experimentation, I decided that VR is my thing and then, I worked for every major company in valley from Google to Microsoft as an independent contractor.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

Well, given my experience in this Virtual Reality space along with Andre’s interests in Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence, DenCity seems to be a very logical project that we should be doing. In the past few months, we are seeing an astronomical increase in the interest towards Blockchain enabled applications. We plan to present DenCity as a model for implementation of aspects of Blockchain technology in the real world as this is the first time people will have an idea of how things work in blockchain enabled city.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

DenCity is a Blockchain and AI powered metaverse that provides a completely immersive experience to escape the bitter state that we are living in today and move out to a completely new place, world, universe or galaxy where you define the lifestyle and rules.

Tell us how it’s been going with the ICO campaign so far?

About DenCity ICO, we went live with our pre-sale on December 5, 2017. In the pre-sale, we have raised more than $1.5 Million from over 1500 individual and institutional investors. Apart from that, we received more than 2300 applications for our exclusive whitelist which is a great sign for our main sale beginning in the last week of December.

Tell us about some of your influencers who have already signed up? Why did it appeal to them?

 Well, we have some of the most influential people in the cryptocurrency world backing us. Out of these people, a few are:-

Marloes Pomp : Head of Blockchain Projects for the Dutch Government  

Anshul Srivastava : Chief Information officer for one of Dubai’s largest insurer

 Andrew Koh : Director of Investment Management Association of Singapore

 There are many aspects of DenCity that appealed to these people when we were pitching to them. But, one common aspect that appealed to everyone was that DenCity will serve as a model for implementation of aspects of Blockchain technology in the real world as this is the first time people will have an idea of how things work in blockchain enabled city.

What are the most frequently questions people ask you about DenCity?

Well, one of the most frequently asked questions about DenCity is that what is the technology that powers the platform. There is a 3-layer technology architecture that powers the DenCity platform. These technologies are:-

VR/AR: Interaction Layer

VR is basically the interaction layer that provides the interface for the citizens to participate, contribute and live in the environment(s).

Blockchain: Ownership Layer

Blockchain provides the ownership layer where you are the owner of the assets that you have built or earned over time. The Blockchain layer also acts as a governance layer for Denizens.

AI: The intelligence layer

With a deep integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence our system constantly learns how you are as a person and can predict or carry out your actions even when you are offline thus giving your avatar the pseudo- freedom to carry out tasks and take decisions in your absence.

 If it all goes well / to plan, what will 2018 look like for DenCity?

In 2018, after the token sale, our first priority will be on delivering the beta version of DenCity and in the December 2018, we will be launching the first version of DenCity’s first civilisation Homostead Nebula to everyone.

 Who do you follow/read for inspiration?

 Well, I am a huge fan of Naval Ravikant. His views on blockchain and crypto economics have been a huge influence on me. Along with this, one of the blogs which I religiously follow is Nick Szabo’s Enumerated. His views on crypto economics and his work on smart contracts in commendable.

Anything else you’d like to add? / We should have asked?

I’d like to give the readers a heads up about our whitelist applications which are still in process.
