You may remember back in April we did an article on Doro Mobile. Doro are a Swedish company that focuses on developing products and software specially adapted for Seniors and of late have been working hard to bring more devices to the Irish market.
After reviewing the Doro 510 we were left impressed once you took into account the price point and the obvious features that would be of great help to seniors, especially those with little technology experience.
Over the last ten days, Doro have announced that another two of their devices have been taken on by Irish mobile networks.
The Doro PhoneEasy 612 is now available on the O2 Network.
Phone highlights:
Chris Millington, Managing Director of Doro UK & Ireland said: “We’re delighted to be launching our second handset with O2 in Ireland. We’ve seen great traction with O2 and our previous handset. I’m certain that the Doro PhoneEasy 612 will see even more success, especially through the O2 network, as it allows the user to find enjoyment in taking and sharing photographs with friends and family – wherever they are.”
The Doro PhoneEasy 612 is available in black on O2 now €89.99 on Pay & Go and from free on contract.
Additionally to that, Doro have also announced that their PhoneEasy 409 will also be coming to Meteor
Phone highlights:
Kealan Donoghue, Meteor’s Head of Product Operations & Distribution said: “The Doro PhoneEasy 409 is a wonderful handset to offer to new and existing customers who are just looking for a phone they can use to make calls and to send texts. Doro has seen great success in the marketplace, showing that there is a real market for easy-to-use mobiles in Ireland.”
Both phones are available now on their respective Networks.
Update:
Hot on the heels of the news we brought you yesterday, Doro have announced this morning that An Post’s Postfone service will also start carrying the PhoneEasy 605
