Meetingsbooker.com sees 400% increase in bookings

Meetingsbooker.com, a booking portal for meeting and conference rooms around the world, has seen a 400% increase in bookings in its first quarter.

The Dublin based start-up, which secured a 1 million euro investment round last October and has tripled its work force in the last 6 months, says the increase in bookings is thanks to the launch of its new booking tool and a recent new website design.

According to Ciaran Delaney, Founder and CEO, the new site is “faster, more visual and easier to use”.

“The performance of the site has increased exponentially since the launch, and we are getting a lot of positive feedback from bookers thanks to the fresh new design, which is both visually appealing and easy to use.”

“Our new booking tool, which launched in January, has doubled our conversion rate, allowing hotels and venues to respond to proposals in less than 2 minutes. The same process, if done by email or phone, could take hours or even days to complete,” says Delaney.

Premium members of the service can now add a dedicated 1 minute video of their meeting and conference space and over 1,500 new venues have been added to the site so far this year.
