Ordinarily held in Tel-Aviv, this year the MedinIsrael Conference and Exhibition has moved to a completely virtual platform which will enable participation from around the globe and facilitate B2B engagement, panel discussions, and more. How many years has it been going?
MedinIsrael has been running for 6 years successfully brining Israel’s healthcare innovation systems and solutions to an international audience while also providing for many other types of business and professional engagement.
What was the inspiration to start it?
The Israeli Medical Device & Digital Health sector has more than 1,000 companies targeting various fields of medicine: Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, Gastrointestinal, Orthopedics and Sport Medicine, Women’s Health, Pain and Wound Management, Dermatology and Aesthetics. As a result the Israel Export Institute together with other relevant stakeholders such as the Ministry of Economy Foreign Trade Administration and Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Health have collaborated to promote the sector and stimulate international business and knowledge sharing, which can ultimately assist global health systems.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
The MedinIsrael conference will feature 60 world-renowned speakers and key opinion leaders from 17 countries on issues relating to health and medical technology, while the virtual exhibition will featuring 85 exhibitors (50% of them are first time exhibitors) with cutting-edge medical technologies that provide solutions to the challenges facing the health systems today.
Who will be speaking?
The conference will feature 60 speakers from around the globe including:Prof. Ran D Balicer, MD,Founding Director, Clalit Research Institute, Chief Innovation Officer, Director of Innovation Division, Clalit Health Services, Israel – who has been at the forefront of Israel’s management of the Coronovirus pandemic in recent times.

While the pandemic has eclipsed much of routine medical services, needs have not diminished.
