Logitech Bluetooth Wireless Headset H800 reviewed

In the second of three reviews about new Logitech headsets we look at the Logitech H800, you can see more about this product here.

Logitech Bluetooth Wireless Headset H800 reviewed

First up, out of the box it looks and handles well. We had it up and running and paired with one of the phones in no time at all. It proved a little more fiddly to get it to talk to the laptop. As a light weight, fun, but decent sound device it works pretty well. You do wonder about the durability of it though, and you certainly want to be super careful to ensure it doesn’t get trodden on or bent or stretched as, if you were to do so, you would be concerned that it might not survive the encounter.

The mic is discrete, and pops in and out of place well, though again feels perhaps a little fragile too. For high volume users this will work well if they are careful users. Naturally we haven’t had any issues with it yet in terms of the help service, but from the Amazon customer reviews it looks like there may be some work to be done as there are some well explained and nuanced explanations of where things didn’t go well. Whereas the 5 Star reviews often read like they were paid-for content, as the users seemed to have discovered something better than sliced bread which seems little excessive and basically unbelievable.

These are decent, usable headset but it probably makes sense to have a good think about what you plan to use the headset for, and to therefore assess exactly what it is that you are looking for.
