LiveTiles to Showcase Potential of Industry-specific Artificial Intelligence Incorporation

How many years has it been going?

This is the inaugural event hosted by LiveTiles in Ireland.

What was the inspiration to start it?

LiveTiles are a hyper growth Saas company that has recently established an innovation centre in Sligo with the aim of generating 50 new jobs in the Sligo region. The Sligo team has direct focus on producing product solutions that will create industry-specific digital platforms that incorporate AI. This event is a showcase as to what can be achieved on a global scale from a regional location in the area of Artificial Intelligence. This event is building LiveTiles brand awareness in Ireland, showing the strength of the North West tech and manufacturing clusters and highlighting the availability of skilled personnel with an emphasis on work/life attractiveness of Sligo.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

Hear from LiveTiles Futurist George Muir on the future of the intelligent digital workplace and the ethics and conscience of AI. George will touch on the movement from today’s situation of full time people/part time AI and how the workforce is heading towards full time AI / part time people.

Jim Davis, CTO of the USA Smart Manufacturing Coalition will be presenting on how radically lowering data and modelling cyber infrastructure costs, accelerating development of applications, and organizing them for reuse, manufacturers of all sizes have access to technologies and practices to stimulate business and growth opportunities. Economic gains are so substantial they stimulate significant reinvestment, job growth, and technology growth.

A panel discussion, Chaired by Ken Finnegan, Director of Innovation at Harbour Innovation Campus will speak to the delicate balance of innovation with an ethical conscience as well as the future direction and implementation of AI within the workplace. These subjects and many more will be debated by Niamh Bushnell, CEO TechIreland and Mark Kelly, Founder AI Ireland.
