Lenovo launches its latest mobile gaming phone the Legion Phone Duel 2

Today, Lenovo announces its new flagship gaming phone, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2. In a press briefing yesterday we got to see the device and got a rundown of the specs and features.

Lenovo has gone all out with the Legion Phone Duel 2, packing it with the latest tech and even including an active cooling system consisting of two fans. The two fans work in conjunction with a vapour chamber to keep the internals cool while the main heat-generating components have been kept to the centre of the device, away from the areas you will be touching most.

The resulting package is surprisingly neat and looks easy to hold. Lenovo has included a number of touch-sensitive areas which act as buttons and have positioned them so they are easy to reach and finger travel time is reduced. In total with all the touch areas on the device and on-screen, there are more than 200 different ways to configure the buttons.

The phone comes with two batteries giving a total of 5500mAh which can be charged extremely quickly using the included 90w charger. 17 minutes of charge takes you up to 4500mAh with a full charge coming in just 30 minutes.

Being a gaming device, the Legion Phone Duel 2 is rocking a 144hz, 6.92″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2460 x 1080.

Everything is powered by a Snapdragon 888 and the phone will come in two options of 12 or 16GB RAM and 256 or 512GB of storage space.

The phone is also 5G enabled and in one click you can live stream to services such as YouTube or Twitch.

A gaming phone of course wouldn’t be complete without the inclusion of some RGB lighting to brighten things up.

Here’s a rundown of the other Legion Phone Duel 2 key specs:

— GPU: Adreno™ 660 @840MHz

— 176mm x 78.5mm x 9.9mm

—  259g

—  Colors: Ultimate Black and Titanium White

—  Front  camera: 44MP Rear camera: 64MP
