KuBitX—THE STORY SO FAR

First off, we want to say a huge thank you to all who have participated in one way or the other in supporting our project from inception up to this point where we are about to release our product?—?The Exchange. What started as a dream for a whole new system to boost emerging financial markets is now beginning to take shape and come to life. We recognize that we cannot rest on our oars and will continue to intensify our efforts as we commence our (soon-to-be-announced) public round of our token generation event.

Today we bring you a recap of our journey so far as well as exciting new updates.

Team:
We have grown a pan African core team and on-ground Global Channel Ambassadors (GCA) spread across about 9 countries: Zimbabwe, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, Canada, UK and across a wide spectrum of professional space from AWS, Microsoft, Dell, EMC, British Petroleum, Huawei, ABB, PwC, MTN as we continue to gain increased market coverage.

Product and Rollout Plan:

Our much awaited MVP which is set to eclipse other exchange platforms in the market today is now ready. You can view our Prototype Demo Video

First rollout spot for crypto to fiat conversions and bill payments using crypto is Nigeria?—?a suitable destination to test our platform as the country boasts the largest population and active youth with massive crypto adoption ranking sixth (6th) globally.

Beta Test Registration:
We will start onboarding members of our community who are interested in participating in our beta test of our exchange, we will give the details of the requirement to join the test group in the dedicated telegram group for that. The registration for Beta users will commence on the 6th of October 2018 and close on the 10th of October 2018..

Beta Test Start:
After onboarding the testers we will open the trade exchange for the test group to trade and report back how it feels. The start date is 11th of October 2018 and the end date is 15th of October 2018.

Beta Launch Date:

Once the Beta test is done we will have a one week window to implement any suggestions received from the users on our platform after which the Beta launch takes place.

Partnerships:
Over the course of several months, the KuBitX team has researched and reached out to a host of top companies and bodies for potentially groundbreaking collaborations. We have so far sealed partnerships with NEM Foundation, Interswitch International (major payment switching company for 99% of the Nigerian banking sector with presence in Kenya, Uganda, The Gambia), Modulus Global (Our Exchange Technical Partner), WDM International (our Legal partner) and others yet to be announced.

Victor Akoma-Philips?—?COO KuBitX?—?Black Blockchain Summit

Community Incentive:
We continue to display a strong sense of gratitude towards all those that have invested time, money and other resources in spreading the word about our project via our referral program. But look out for even more incentives from us in the future.

AMA session:

A productive AMA session was held on 24th of August 2018 where we engaged with our community members via a question and answer session. If you missed it, you can still catch up.
