Kongsberg Digital signs MOU with Techstars Energy Accelerator companies

Techstars Energy Accelerator came to its grand finale on 6 December 2018. To continue the joint exploration of opportunities for digitalization within maritime and oil & gas, Kongsberg Digital signs Memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Crux, Sensytec and Voyager.

Together with Equinor and McKinsey & Company, KONGSBERG has been a partner in bringing about the Techstars Energy Accelerator. After three months of intense mentoring, networking and business development, the ten Techstars companies delivered their final pitch of the program to an audience of investors in Equinor’s offices on Fornebu. Kongsberg Digital has signed MoUs with three of the companies and are looking into opportunities with several of the other accelerator companies.

Kongsberg Digital are heavily invested in digitalizing the maritime sector, and are helping clients take the first steps by connecting ships to the industrial digital ecosystem Kognifai. Now, they are on the outlook for partners who can co-deliver value adding services and solutions to clients on Kognifai. Voyager delivers a multi-party collaboration and workflow management solution for the maritime value chain, and will explore opportunities for collaboration together with Kongsberg Digital.

Techstars is a worldwide network connecting founders of startups with other entrepreneurs, experts, mentors, alumni, investors, community leaders, and corporations to grow their companies. In the first Techstars Energy Accelerator, KONGSBERG provided around 30 mentors to help the ten chosen startup companies.
