Oisin Hanrahan, Co-Founder and CEO of Keychain
Keychain, the AI-powered manufacturing platform transforming the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, has announced its expansion into Ireland and the appointment of Alan Metcalfe, General Manager, Europe, to drive its global operations forward. Coming off the heels of its $30M Series B funding round, this expansion reflects Keychain’s commitment to supporting global CPG brands and manufacturers in building faster, smarter, and more resilient supply chains.
With its recent funding and launch of AI-native product KeychainOS, the company will help local manufacturers reduce bottlenecks and manage their production cycles more efficiently. Metcalfe will play a key role in supporting Keychain’s operations in Ireland, ensuring seamless integration of its AI-powered manufacturing platform within the market.
“Establishing a presence in Ireland is an important step for Keychain as we continue to scale internationally,” said Oisin Hanrahan, CEO and Founder of Keychain. “Alan Metcalfe is a seasoned entrepreneur who brings valuable expertise in business strategy, brand development, and scaling companies globally. We’re thrilled to have him on board as we expand across Europe.”
Since launching in February 2024, Keychain has raised $68 million in venture capital and is used by 8 of the top 10 retailers, and 7-Eleven and Whole Foods, along with 7 of the top 10 CPG brands, including General Mills. Through the opening of its Irish office, Keychain will serve European markets directly, helping brands and manufacturers bring products to market more quickly.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Keychain at such a pivotal time,” said Alan Metcalfe, General Manager, Europe, Keychain. “I’m inspired by the company’s mission to transform the CPG supply chain with AI, and I look forward to building strong partnerships in Ireland and beyond.”
Customers are experiencing the platform’s impact firsthand. By providing manufacturers with real-time insights and intelligent automation, Keychain empowers brands to optimise production and stay ahead of evolving consumer trends.
The platform already supports leading clients Rich’s Foods, General Mills, The Hershey Company, and Schreiber Foods, all of which are also investors. With operations around the globe, this expansion will further strengthen Keychain’s supply chain impact for multinational companies.
Keychain’s Dublin office will serve as a hub for Irish operations, with plans to expand its team in the coming months.
