Kerry Tech Company ViClarity To Open New Office In The US

ViClarity, a Tralee based company that provide Risk &
Regulatory Compliance software in the healthcare and financial services sectors is expanding and opening a new office in Boston.

John “Ogie” Sheehy founded ViClarity in 2018 and is set to relocate to Boston – with his family – in a bid to continue the growth of the company’s US customer’s base. Mr Sheehy will fly to Boston next week with the intention of setting up a Boston based team by the end of the summer.

Having already established a strong foothold in both the Irish and the UK market ViClarity were introduced to the US market, through a chance encounter with a customer at a trade show in Denver. The individual knew someone working in an organisation who worked with a network of Credit Unions in the US and eventually this person became ViClarity’s sales agent on the ground. This led to ViClarity’s first US customers coming on board in Arizona.

ViClarity further expanded their client base in the US in the past few years and now the company are looking forward to taking the next step in scaling the market and opening a US based office.

Winning a place in last month’s Bridge to MassChallenge Cork accelerator competition has given ViClarity an insight into the opportunity of being on the ground in the US with Boston having a large concentration of potential customers in healthcare and the second biggest largest number of fund management organisations in the country. The intention is to establish a team of sales, pre-sales, customer support, account management and business analysts at the Boston office while the companies headquarters will remain in Tralee Co Kerry.

Ogie Sheehy, CEO at ViClarity Said:
“We are looking forward to opening the Boston office in the coming weeks. The expansion provides great opportunity for the company and all the team. “
