Xunison, an Irish software and hardware solution provider to the Telco / ISP market today announced that following the retention of Focus Capital Partners in late 2021, they have successfully raised seed capital of €3.35 million.

Xunison’s vision is to provide an all-in-one broadband delivery and digital in-home services

solution for its customers through smart devices, consumers apps, cloud-based management platforms and provider branded online stores. This funding will be directed in full towards the next phase of Xunison’s global growth.

Following the success of the business’s partnership rollout with STC, Saudi Arabia, the Middle East will see Xunison solidify its position in the market by broadening local presence, growing the sales team and local support functions in the MENA regions in addition to attending key tradeshows.

There will be an augmented focus on the marketing strategy in the USA. Xunison is currently progressing discussions with leading telecoms companies with a view to roll out a commercial deal in H1 2022. Prior to this, they have already set up an American based office and will grow their marketing, sales and customer support operations.

Across Europe and the UK, Xunison will expand its sales and marketing capabilities with the hire of additional sales agents, a PR launch of its 5G device with key CE partner and quarterly attendance to key tradeshows with a view to signing five Communication Service Providers over the next two years alone.

Speaking of the super round secured, CEO of Xunison, Ryan O’Donovan commented, “We were humbled by the level of interest that was expressed in this round. It exceeded our expectations and capacity when it closed out on Christmas week. As a result of this funding, 2022 will see Xunison cement our brand presence and effectively communicate the incredible capabilities of the organisation to a global audience.”

Martin Higgins, Director at Focus added: “Xunison is an exciting and innovative proposition, and we are so pleased to partner with this incredible Irish company as they expand their IOT offering in major comms markets across the globe. Unsurprisingly interest in the Funding Round was considerable and was over-subscribed.

“We believe that Xunison can become a major Global business and their Hardware and Software Platform capabilities extend well beyond anything that we have seen in the market. We are delighted to be working to support a highly talented and capable Management Team and we are eager to support them with value creation as they scale up internationally.”
