I have a keen interest in News apps etc and was delighted to come across a mobile app from the Irish institution that is The Irish Examiner, available on both the App Store and Google Play. On first glance using an iPhone the layout is nice and simple, easy to use but above all free to download and access! Users can access content by simply choosing from the Menu options.
As to be expected from The Examiner there are plenty of news options available –
Under the “More” tab there are contact options and also a “Settings” option that allows users to download all content and make it available without a data connection!
Overall, I really like the look and feel of this news app apart from the obligatory banner advert. But this is a small price to pay for such a content rich free app!
