Irish Entrepreneurs targeting €4 million investment & over 50 new jobs at Synergy Innovation Centre, IT Tallaght

Thirteen innovative entrepreneurs – who started the Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers programme at Synergy Innovation Centre in IT Tallaght last May are now targeting a total of over €4m in follow-on investment and an additional 50 jobs.

The new jobs are expected over the next 12-18 months, with more in the pipeline over the next 2-3 years.

The entrepreneurs showcased their start-ups to business angels and investors at the Synergy Innovation Centre IT Taillight yesterday.

The 13 businesses address significant problems and opportunities in a broad range of sectors from software to electronics, life sciences and food & beverages.

Service areas include Software as a Service (SaaS) for B2B & B2C markets in edutech, property management, cyber security, event planning, Reg Tech plus SaaS Tools and Productivity Tools.

Specific products include whiskey bitters, passive alert system for assisted living, wearable gait analysis and stress and wellness technology.

For some of the entrepreneurs, the fundraising has already kicked off with nearly €700,000 brought in to date.
