Ireland’s Red Alert forces thousands of companies to work remotely

Storm Ophelia has kept many away from offices, while schools and colleges were ordered to remain shut. Several companies however, have employees working remotely.

Many companies in Ireland are ‘going remote’ today (16.10.17) for the first time, out of necessity rather than choice. With the arrival of Storm Ophelia to Ireland, forcing school closures, limited public transport and warnings for people to stay in-doors, Abodoo are highlighting reasons why companies should encourage remote working all year round.
