With a nod to the upcoming exhibition ‘PERFECTION’ at the Science Gallery, the Ireland South East Development Office is hosting an evening event in the gallery’s Piccar Theatre on Wednesday the 26th of June from 7-9pm to show interested relocators real-life examples of how the region is “Perfectly Placed for ambitious business, careers and a healthy life balance”

The business-focused event includes guest speakers, panel discussions and networking for those
interested in relocating/expanding their business or careers.

The event is aimed at investors, startups, scale-ups, SMEs, MNCs and businesses looking to start, relocate or expand and also for experienced professionals looking to further develop their careers in global companies, realise more disposable income and have shorter commutes.

The event Perfectly Placed organised by John Cleere, Director of Red Lemonade Creative and founder of #TechThursdayKK (a well attended, enterprise-led, monthly tech event that takes place in Kilkenny City) outlines what attendees can expect on the night. “The event is designed to give real insights to both businesses and employees who are considering an expansion or move, to show how Ireland South East is a viable option for them by hearing directly from people who have already made that move.

We’re bringing the region to the capital for the night so we can showcase the available opportunities for business and the opportunity costs by not taking advantage of what’s on offer. There are significant opportunities within Ireland South East and this event is tailored to share that with the wider business community”.

The Ireland South East Development Office (ISEDO) works with leaders of the major regional industries within the South East, comprising of Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford. Its priority is to make the South East the first choice for business, careers, inward investment and related tourism. Alan Quirke, recently appointed Director of ISEDO is keen to get the word out.

“As a region, Ireland South East has many benefits to exploit; from global businesses within a connected community, excellent infrastructure, reasonable house and office prices, dynamic cultural events to a great quality of life. It is a well-kept secret in terms of its business potential and this event is to kick-start the conversation with Dublin-based businesses and professionals who are interested in knowing more. Ireland South East is no longer just a location, it’s now a destination.

At ISEDO we are ready to facilitate connections and conversations to encourage business development in the region. We will support your business or career to be part of the Ireland South East success story”. Tickets are free but booking is essential, tickets via Eventbrite.
