Today saw the announcement in California of Apple’s latest new gadget, the iPad mini. As expected it sports a 7.9″ screen and is super light and thin, meaning it can be held in one hand. The base wifi model retails at €339 in Ireland with pre-orders starting on October 26th.
Apple also announced the iPad 4, which is basically the current iPad 3 updated with the latest A6 processor, expanded LTE to cover international markets, and the new Lightning connector to keep the whole iOS line on the same page for charging. A new ultra thin iMac and 13″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display completed the long list of new Apple products announced today.
