The Local Enterprise Office for Dublin City will launch a report on tech sector investment and the supports available for start-ups and growing tech businesses on Tuesday, 30 October, at 9.30am at Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.
The report highlights some of the tech businesses supported by Local Enterprise Office Dublin City in recent years, including:
BookGolf365, a company founded by professional golfer Peter Lawrie to make golf bookings more accessible and cost-effective;
usheru, which specialises in analytics for the film industry and makes it easier for film marketing campaigns to link into the cinema ticketing process; and
DwellDown, a platform for renters to rate the standard of their accommodation, with the aim of increasing transparency in the private rented sector.
Commenting in advance of the report launch, Dave Connolly, Business Advisor at Local Enterprise Office Dublin City, said: “From start-ups addressing important societal challenges – such as DwellDown and Liberty Bell – to platforms that help save costs for golf fanatics, the Local Enterprise Office for Dublin City is proud to support a wide range of innovative tech companies.
“In the report we’re launching, we’re highlighting the services and supports we offer the tech sector – from funding to business mentoring and networking opportunities. We want to let tech entrepreneurs know we’re here to help.”
