The FREE regional workshops aim to encourage established SMEs seeking finance to do so in a strategic manner with a well-prepared business plan and to explore all finance options available to them.

How many years has it been going?

This is the third year of the programme.

What was the inspiration to start it?

The inspiration came from the InterTradeIreland Access to Finance Report which highlighted an over-reliance among established Irish companies on bank overdrafts and a lack of awareness of alternative forms of finance.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

Businesses have the opportunity to leave the event having made contact with funders with a view to future funding.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

Delegates will have the opportunity to network with funding providers and learn from case studies showing businesses which have received funding.

Who will be speaking?

Michael Neary, Grant Thornton and two panels of funders.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

Arrive early and get talking to funders.
