It will be the first eyar : the first edition of an unprecedented meeting for the future of healthcare

What was the inspiration to start it?

The ambition of positioning Paris Region as the world capital of health innovation.

What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2018 version?

This is an important new event for the French healthcare ecosystem. It will bring together academics, researchers, physicians, clinicians, health industries, start-ups, global investors and local stakeholders to promote health innovation, its transformation into business processes, medical practices and economic development, and the many assets of the Paris Region. Combining medtech and open innovation, MedXperience will also offer a platform dedicated to an international call for projects.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

During two days, international participants will discuss their practices, achievements, and ambitions in new therapies and innovative technologies in the healthcare industry. MedXperience is an opportunity for start-ups and innovative companies to present their solutions to doctors, clinicians, researchers and investors and to meet experts, future partners and health professionals from around the world. Doctors and organisations, both public and private, will discover innovations and their implementation as well as new tools to help them optimise their work. Investors will be able to meet young start-ups with proven experience and will be able to get involved in their development. Also open to young researchers and students to discuss their projects, MedXperience will allow them to discover innovations and meet experts to improve their skills and learning. Finally, scholastic professionals will be able to promote their schools and initiate key partnerships.

MedXperience 2018 marks a milestone in Medicen-supported call for international projects. A key meeting point for the Paris Region’s healthcare ecosystem, the event aims to develop tomorrow’s projects on a global scale: a dedicated platform will enable the launch and creation of working groups aimed at international projects in the field of healthcare innovation.

The organization of the event is curently in progress so we can’t disclosure names but there will be speakers from all around the world : doctors, clinicians, researchers, start-ups…
