BeeInstant has announced that it has been acquired by Instana Inc, the world’s leading provider of Automatic Application Performance Monitoring, headquartered in Chicago, U.S and Solingen, Germany. The two companies agreed to join forces to provide leading-edge solutions for serving the critical needs of application delivery teams, across several all stakeholders, from development to IT Ops, DevOps, SRE and executive management.
“The world’s digital transformation landscape is changing rapidly. The complexity of online applications and large scale cloud infrastructure creates critical demands for the accuracy of data at scale, as well as the automation of manual monitoring work. Instana is leading the way in automating application performance monitoring. We are excited to join forces with Instana to take application monitoring further, and faster to serve industry needs”, said Trung Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of BeeInstant.
Founded by the team who built highly scalable systems at Amazon, BeeInstant has developed an advanced cloud monitoring solution to analyse high-frequency metrics in hyper-scale systems and applications running on the cloud. The company was honoured to receive financial investments from Enterprise Ireland and Techstars – the world’s top accelerators according to Forbes?. Based in Dublin, BeeInstant was also a portfolio company of well-respected accelerators including SAP.iO (Berlin), Google, Dublin Business Innovation Centre, New Frontiers and Bank of Ireland.
“We’re excited to be welcoming BeeInstant to the Instana family,” said Mirko Novakovic, Instana co-founder and CEO. “Combining the power of Instana’s automation with BeeInstant’s high-frequency monitoring capabilities allows us to deliver APM value to an even broader set of users, applications and performance problems.”
BeeInstant’s customers will continue using BeeInstant solutions as normal. As of this acquisition, BeeInstant customers are also able to benefit from the leading-edge technology of Instana. Instana customers state the solution becomes essential to their software delivery cycle enabling them to improve their operations and deliver better software faster.
