it@Cork, the European Tech Cluster, honoured organisations and individuals in the technology sector at the it@Cork Leader Awards Ceremony. Indigenous tech companies swept the board at the 8th Annual Awards Ceremony.

From SME indigenous businesses to multi-nationals, the IT sector is critical to economic growth. Our vision to align a collaborative team and focused cluster strategy across industry, government, public sector and academia is unique in Ireland. The pedigree of our Leaders Awards nominees and winners, especially from the SME and indigenous sector, clearly demonstrate the value and relevance for Ireland Inc.”, said Denis Collins, chair of it@cork, European Tech Cluster.

From schools to IT departments, start-ups and business leaders, our award recipients showcase how the region is a thriving hub for innovation and technology and we will continue to cultivate and recognise this through the annual Leader Awards”, explained Norma O’Callaghan, Chairman of the it@Cork Leaders Awards committee.

The it@Cork Leader Awards have always honoured organisations, individuals and performance across a number of categories. This year we will focus on the full spectrum of the technology ecosystem in Cork by adding new categories including Best Technology SME and The One to Watch (early stage startup),” she added.
