HTC Butterfly shows up for Pre-Oreder

Last week we heard that HTC’s “J Butterfly”, which was aimed at the Japanese market, would drop the “J” and come to other Asian markets as just the “Butterfly”

It now seems that we will be getting a version of it here too. Online retailer Expansys.ie now have it available for Pre-Order on their site. There are no details other than that available yet but we will keep an eye on this one with interest.

The Butterfly is HTC’s flagship model, at least for now (as we wait to see if the M7 becomes real!). It is packing some amazing specs including a 5″ 1080P resolution screen, 2GB of RAM, and a Quad Core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. Unlike it’s American cousin, the Droid DNA, it also includes expandable memory via Micro SD.

We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.

Update:  Expansys were later forced to pull the device by HTC and no longer listed the phone for sale.
