Great interview with Greg Canty, Managing Partner at Fuzion Communications, who will be speaking at our event – Fintech20 – on October 26th, 2017.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

Heading up a genuine full service communications agency, everything from the initial Brand Workshops to Crisis PR across traditional and digital media.

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

The last year has been great – we landed a huge account and we have introduced a ‘War Room’ package, which is the equivalent of a ‘fire drill’ for companies but it is for a Crisis. We have two former journalists in the team who work with us to make these scenarios very real.

What are your plans for the future?

In a world of huge staff turnover, working remotely and globally and the fast pace of change, communications is a huge challenge for teams and working hard to maintain a clear team ethos and an identity that people believe in and want to be part of. We see a lot of our work being as much internally focused as external.

What will you be talking about at this event?

Humanising and personalising our communications to really connect and make a difference.

What inspired you to attend it?

It’s all Simon’s fault! Seriously we feel there are many great Irish Fintech companies out there, who need to tell and sell their story better to the world. We want to help them to achieve this.

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?

Seth Godin is a marketeer that I follow all the time and I listen to a podcast called ‘Legends and Losers’ by Christopher Lockhead.

How can people find out more about what you are working on?

Follow me on Twitter @GregCantyFuzion or read my blog GregCantyFuzion.com

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

What’s my philosophy about business at Fuzion Communications?

It’s to #WinHappy !!
