Historic Scottish Castle Hosts Gathering of International Life science and Technology Leaders

A 2-Day gathering of leading international authorities from the life science and technology sector marked their collaboration and support of BioLife Chain, an innovative global bioscience project that brings together technology innovation, industry partners and investment for the life science sector. Speakers at the exclusive event, set in the stunning 400-acre Scottish Highland estate of Fasque Castle, former family home of British Prime Minister William Gladstone, included world renowned author and ‘Father of the Digital Economy” Don Tapscott.

BioLife will have its new ‘Bioscience Technology & Research Lab’ at Fasque Castle, developing specialist services for owners of biomedical resources such as pharmaceutical companies, health service agents, R&D institutions and patients. As a leading life- and bio-science cluster, Scotland was the preferred international site for BioLife, providing the ideal environment for innovation, access to leading-edge industry partners and best talent. The country’s reputation for its globally recognised digital health record system represents a key area of development for BioLife with its aim to meet the high demand for personal health data that entails precise treatment and targeted therapy.

“BioLife will develop the most immediate opportunities in the sector, making cutting-edge bioscience technologies available for wealthy and globally mobile patients, initially in Scotland and Switzerland, with other strategic locations to follow. As part of this, we believe Fasque Castle will become a top-class international health tourism destination.” Explains Yuelin Liu, CEO of BioLife, Chairman of Shenzhen ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ and Tinjoy Health Group. “In a healthcare future that is increasingly preventative, personalised and precise, patients need to be able to access the best care and self-manage their health. We will leverage AI and blockchain to create an electronic health record as a service (“EHRaaS”) and global marketplace for the digitisation and monetisation of bioscience assets.”

“I believe BioLife will help shape the future of healthcare, empowering patients and creating new industry collaborations that will advance research and development in life sciences.” Says Don Tapscott, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of the Blockchain Research Institute and author of industry bible The Blockchain Revolution. “Blockchain technology is all about enabling digital relationships, and BioLife will provide a valuable example and use-case in the life science sector. I am proud to witness the launch and inception of this important project.”

The BioLife ‘Distributed Consensus’ event took place at Fasque Castle, Scotland, concluding with a high-tech digital wall signing and spectacular fireworks ceremony to mark the international collaboration on this ground-breaking bioscience and technology project. Originally conceived in China, BioLife brings together a leading global network of strategic, technology and industry partners to realise the first blockchain based marketplace for the digitisation and monetisation of life science assets.
