Colm O'Cuinneain
Greenhouse, the hiring software company, has announced tech veteran Colm O’Cuinneain is leading its European expansion out of its new base in Dublin, Europe’s tech capital. Greenhouse helps the world’s smartest and most successful companies, like Stripe, GOAL Global, Intercom, BrewDog, LearnUpon, HubSpot and Cisco Meraki, hire for what’s next.
Founded in 2012, Greenhouse has quickly expanded to working with 4,000 of the most well-known and fastest-growing companies. It gives companies a dynamic approach to hiring through its complete suite of software combined with services and a rich partner ecosystem. This powerful approach allows the smartest, most dynamic companies take a more holistic approach to hiring, enabling them not only to attract the best talent but to make the entire company better at hiring.
Colm O’Cuinneain joins Greenhouse as General Manager of EMEA, where he will focus on scaling the company in EMEA and Ireland, leading its first international office outside the U.S. He brings over two decades of experience in SaaS and Enterprise Software for the world’s leading technology companies, including LinkedIn, Oracle and HP.
“Colm, with his exceptional track record in scaling SaaS and enterprise software companies in EMEA, is ideally positioned to lead our team as we expand in the region out of our new Dublin base. Companies, now more than ever, are recognising how essential it is to hire the best talent for long-term success, and we’re thrilled to have Colm helm our first international office as we bring our platform to many more European organisations, fundamentally improving how they hire through technology and our domain expertise”, says Daniel Chait, CEO and co-founder of Greenhouse.
Prior to joining Greenhouse, Colm was a Director of LinkedIn’s largest business line, Talent Solutions, where he led new business acquisition, as well as client growth and retention across DACH, Benelux and Nordic Markets. Before that, he spent over a decade leading growth strategies for Oracle. “Colm is well-connected to our customers and partners in EMEA”, Daniel Chait added, “bringing years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the market from his previous roles. He will help Europe’s most forward-thinking, fastest-growing companies become great at hiring, giving them the ultimate confidence to expand and grow.”
Greenhouse was founded with a mission to help companies become great at hiring. Speaking about his new role, Colm O’Cuinneain said: “I am so excited to join the world’s fastest-growing hiring software company and build on Greenhouse’s mission and great success with companies in over 45 countries including top Irish firms LearnUpon, Stripe and Intercom, by bringing our software to many more EMEA-based organisations. Dublin is a thriving tech hub at the heart of the EU, teeming with talent and a healthy ecosystem of SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise companies. There is a depth of experienced leadership in Ireland that understands the necessity to be best in class in attracting talent. The well-known companies we work with in the US want us to bring that edge to Europe. Ireland as a progressive, young, business-friendly country provides the perfect base for this expansion across Europe as our first international outpost.”
O’Cuinneain added that Greenhouse is currently hiring across sales functions in Ireland, including Account Executives, Account Managers and Customer Success Managers, as it continues to expand rapidly across the EMEA region.
