Google Play Music has partnered with Samsung, to provide customers with a free six-month subscription with every purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge device in Ireland. The partnership was announced as new research revealed that more than a third of people use their smartphones as a primary music device, listening up to 15 hours a week.
For a limited time, customers in Ireland who purchase the Galaxy S6 or S6 edge smartphone will have access to all 30 million songs currently available on Google Play Music. In addition, users can also access its curated radio stations and playlists.
Chong Won Lim, Head of Product Marketing, IT & Mobile at Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland added: “At Samsung, we are committed to giving our customers want they want and we know music is a huge part of many of our users’ lives. Technology has revolutionised the way we consume entertainment and we are delighted that through this partnership with Google Play we are able to enhance the mobile experience for so many of our customers.”
The 6-month free subscription offer on the purchase of a Samsung S6 & S6 edge is available from 1st August until October 31st 2015 and must be redeemed by December 1 2015.
