In this episode, presenter Aidan Power will be joined by Eoin Gillard, Head of Public Transport Investment for the National Transport Authority (NTA). He will speak on the topic of the role of the NTA and some of their major projects and future plans.

The sixth episode will feature topics including:

  • The importance of the MetroLink project
  • How BusConnects will make Dublin more connected
  • How people can be encouraged to use public transport

Darren O’Reilly, Head of Global Marketing for Emovis said: “For the sixth episode in the ‘Going Places’ podcast series, we are delighted to be joined by Eoin Gillard. He is well placed to discuss some of the major transport projects in Ireland which the NTA are involved in.”

The podcast series aims to create a dialogue on the future of transport and mobility across Ireland and will feature key stakeholders and industry leaders, including senior representatives from the NTA, Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and ARUP.

Notably, the sixth episode of the Going Places video podcast took place over the course of a journey on Dublin Bus. Previous episodes have seen Aidan take to the road in a Toyota CHR Hybrid to interview leading figures within the Irish Transport and Mobility ecosystem.
