Global Marketing Strategist to address Women’s Business Network in Dublin

Margaret Molloy, Irish global chief marketing officer at the renowned branding firm Siegel+Gale in New York, is headlining next month’s WIN national conference in Dublin.

The Women’s Inspire Network (WIN) brings together women around the world for shared learning and support through social media.  Samantha Kelly, Ireland’s ‘Tweeting Goddess’, officially launched the Network two years ago and it is now a global online community with 8,000 active participants on Facebook alone.

Announcing Margaret Molloy as this year’s conference keynote speaker, Samantha Kelly said the Harvard Business School graduate is regarded as one of the most influential global marketing leaders.

“This very driven and insightful marketing strategist has received numerous top business accolades and consistently appears in leading CMO rankings, including Forbes’ top CMOs on Twitter”, the social media consultant and WIN founder said of Molloy.

The Irish woman also created #WearingIrish in the U.S. in 2016, as a passion project to showcase Irish fashion designers.  It is now an online and offline movement and includes an event programme, hosting leading Irish designers in New York.

The theme of the 2019 WIN conference is The Power of Community and Networking in Business and the day is sponsored by the Sunday Business Post.

On the basis that business is about building relationships, delegates will hear advice on how to network, the power of building a community of like-minded people, and the capacity of social media in helping to reach a global network.

Conference delegates come from all over the world to attend the annual business forum, with its internationally recognised speakers.

This year’s eclectic mix of speakers will share inspirational stories of community, and of how networking has helped their business, as well as practical advice on digital and traditional networking skills from event organiser, Samantha Kelly who will open the conference.

Melanie Boylan, Director of STOMP Social Media Training, will talk about promoting a business online and measuring for success.   Discussing the different online promotion, both free and paid, the social media expert will share measurement techniques to improve consumer reach and conversion.

Dave Pepper, a senior marketing manager at Twitter, shares important insider knowledge on what brands need to succeed on Twitter, while Certified Financial Planner, Tracy Cullen outlines ‘Five Steps to Financial Freedom’.

Event sales and digital marketing coach Sarah Dineen has ‘Sold Out Success Secrets’ outlining steps for entrepreneurs and small business owners to create and fill their own live events.

Support Network

Conference organiser, Samantha Kelly, says the motivation behind the Women’s Inspire Network is to support each other, in both life and in business, and to learn from others.

“Lack of confidence and practical support networks can hold women back, so, our message is that we can support one another, online and in person.  Share the insights, resources and practical supports. Help others and they will help you back”, the businesswoman says.

Among the motivational speakers is Kirsten De Bouter, a no-nonsense mentor with a background in psychology and corporate coaching, who discusses the survival of the most adaptable, in other words, how to do things differently and thrive!

Journalist and blogger Geraldine Walsh, a self-professed introvert, speaks from personal knowledge on ‘Confidence, A State of Mind’!

Teaching how to be happy from the inside-out is Pauline Rohdich’s passion, and the clinical hypnotherapist and life coach will outline how delegates need to collaborate with their mind to create whatever it is they really want.

Leadership and public speaking coach Barbara Edwards is addressing a topic not often spoken about!  Mind your Menopause – The Coaching Effect offers practical advice on coping strategies to tackle both physical and psychological symptoms and enable confidence.

CBT practitioner and psychotherapist Susi Lodola talks mental wellbeing and how to develop the skills to understand emotional wellbeing, and the tools to overcome challenges and find direction.

Entrepreneur Aoife Keady will outline the challenging business journey that saw the recent successful launch of her events guide app, What’s Where, which came about following an unexpected encounter with some Silicon Valley developers.

Energising delegates and helping them control their productivity and happiness are Pepper Hustle owners, Lynne Ward and Martina Perry.  The duo offer online body positive programmes covering health, nutrition, fitness and positivity, and their post-lunchtime slot will put a major pep in the step!

Sponsored by the Sunday Business Post, the Women’s Inspire Network Annual Conference is on Tuesday 22 October next in the CityNorth Hotel & Conference Centre at Gormanston in County Meath.

Tickets, including lunch, are available on Eventbrite at €85.00, with the business conference open to anyone interested in the women’s business network, not just members.
