What was the inspiration to start it?

Lack of awareness among established companies of finance options available.  Research carried out by InterTradeIreland shows there is a lack of awareness among Irish SMEs of the full range of fiancé options open to them and consequently an over-reliance on bank overdrafts as a form of finance.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

Real funding case studies and stimulating panel discussions. There will be two panel discussions, one covering bank finance and the other covering alternative sources of finance.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

Network with finance providers.

Who will be speaking?

Representatives from Grant Thornton, InterTradeIreland, banks and other funders. Gary Stokes and Shane O’Hanlon from InterTradeIreland, Michael Neary, Grant Thornton, Brian Colgan, Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland plus two panel discussions covering bank finance and alternative sources of finance.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

There will be a full range of funders in attendance including backs private equity funds and alternative funding providers.
