Fidelity Investments Ireland, a private company HQ’d in Boston and one of the industry’s most diversified financial services firms, today announced plans to accelerate the hiring of approximately 100 technologists in Ireland.
The new roles, the vast majority of which are software engineers, are in addition to the hundreds of roles Fidelity hires each year. They are required to continue Fidelity’s ability to deliver the best customer experience in the industry and will be based in both Galway and Dublin.
The recruitment drive is part of Fidelity’s enduring commitment to clients, and their changing needs during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and beyond.
“Fidelity Ireland continues to provide critical technology and operations support to the firm. All of our 1,100-strong workforce are working from home across Ireland and ready to welcome new colleagues to support our expanding need for tech skills and talent we have based here in Ireland,” said Al Riviezzo, General Manager, Fidelity Investments Ireland.
Fidelity Investments, a 2020 Glassdoor Best Place to Work, is offering expedited hiring, virtual onboarding and training processes, as well as wide-ranging work-from-home flexibility and supports to ensure the safety of employees.
In addition, Fidelity recently rolled out enhanced supports and benefits focused on time, flexibility and new care services for employees, including the time needed to manage unexpected homelife events and COVID-19 screening.
“We understand that these are very uncertain times, however, Fidelity Investments is a dynamic company which allows us to protect our existing staff and look to fill a significant number of roles within our business,” said Conor McDonnell, Head of Human Resources, Fidelity Investments Ireland.
“We want to assure people considering a new job or career change that Fidelity Investments continues to actively recruit and hire for several critical roles and is accelerating hiring in key tech areas. New employees will experience a safe and enhanced onboarding process.”
Fidelity Investments’ financial strengths come from its unmatched scale and combination of market-leading businesses that serve different markets with different solutions – asset management, brokerage, and administrative solutions serving personal, workplace, intermediary, and institutional markets.
