With less than 3 weeks to go to the latest Zero Day Con event, another international expert on cybersecurity has been added to the list of speakers. Nicole van der Meulen is a Senior Strategic Analyst at Europol, with more than a decade of experience in the field.

Nicole joins the likes of FBI Supervisory Special Agent Todd Renner, Head of the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau Detective Chief Superintendent Pat Lordan, and

Ireland’s Assistant Data Protection Commissioner Donna Creaven on the list of top-class speakers due on-stage at the National Convention Centre on March 7th.

Using the theme “Age of Disruption”, Zero Day Con will examine how rapidly emerging technologies are redefining cyberspace, with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning becoming the main disruptors to established infrastructures.

Leading technology firms, industry experts and government officials will all share insights for cybersecurity professionals grappling with the rise of disruptive innovations.

The first ever winner of Ireland’s Cybersecurity Leader of the Year award will also be announced, in acknowledgement of the work being done by in-house experts to prevent cyber attacks.

Organiser of Zero Day Con 2019 and CEO Smarttech247, Ronan Murphy says; “The high-profile calibre of our guests for Zero Day Con shows how seriously the world’s top experts are taking cybersecurity, and how real the issue is for businesses large and small. Smarttech247 believes tackling cybercrime demands a networked, team approach and we look forward to providing first-rate advice and guidance for everyone attending”.
