How many years has it been going?
The conference has been going for five years.
What was the inspiration to start it?
Blockchain was starting to be seen as more than just Bitcoin. Enterprise started showing interested and use cases for DLT were starting to be scoped. It was exciting to hear about the possibilities. Things are still moving at a rapid pace.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
The industry has gone through momentous changes in the last 12 months. Learning more about the future of security tokens and how blockchain will become mainstream are topics I’m keen to learn more about.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
You’ll get to meet with a diverse group of people who are shaping the future. It’s really all about connecting.

Consensys, Pillar, IBM, Societe General, Applied Blockchain, Ripple, UK MPs and many more.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Ask questions and definitely attend the evening drinks and meetups.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
You can buy tickets at www.fintechweek.com. Tickets don’t usually sell out but prices rise gradually. Usually the last two weeks are the most expensive. Buy early.

This is one of the longest running blockchain conferences anywhere and there are always interesting people that fly in from around the world.
